Pool Buoy was founded by Rae Maxwell, who grew up in the glorious chaos of 1990s backyards — sunburns, scraped knees, and the occasional heroic dive off the trampoline --destination unknown.

Summers were all about inflatable pools, sprinklers, and turning any ordinary backyard into chaos and fun.

Years later, with her own family, Rae asked a simple question: why aren’t there inflatable pools that look good, last longer, and are actually safe for kids?

Frustrated by flimsy designs and hidden nasties, she rolled up her sleeves, researched materials, tested countless prototypes, and created something better — to create pools that were tougher (fewer pops!), safer for kids (bye-bye nasties!), and more stylish than anything she could find (hello aesthetics)

A little stint in Italy (I know right!) and La Piscina was bor (it means Pool in Italian) - a collection that blends Australian backyard nostalgia with a touch of European flair.
