Pool Safety
Pool Safety is so important.
- Children have drowned in portable swimming pools.
- Pool Floats are not life saving devices
- Ensure active adult supervision at all times.
- Do not leave children unattended or unsupervised in or around the pool, always keep them within arms reach.
- Pools should be placed on a flat, even surface clear of debris. We suggest placing your pool on grass or a soft surface.
- Special care should be taken entering and exiting the pool as wet surfaces can be extra slippery.
- Pool fencing laws can apply consult your local government authority for fencing requirements.
Set Up
Choose a flat, even surface that’s clear of debris or sharp objects — your pool and bottoms will thank you.
Uneven ground causes water to pool (not in a chic, infinity-pool way), which can put pressure on seams and lead to tears.
To keep your pool looking beautiful, avoid prolonged direct sunlight. Harsh sun can fade the print (tragic), and warm vinyl can soften, causing misshaped sides, torn seams, and broken summer dreams.
If you’re not setting up on grass, we recommend placing a towel or yoga mat for extra protection underneath
CLEANING
Always drain and empty your pool completely after each use. Stagnant water can harbour germs.
Clean with a soft cloth or sponge, warm water and an environmentally friendly detergent. Avoid strong chemicals or bleach.

Back to the good ol' days
Our brand was built around one particular muse, Slim Aarons. He famously shot glamorous poolside parties in the 1960’s, where every house had an employed Pool Boy, and hence our name was born. The pools take their names from the quirky characters you’d find at those parties. Our second collection, La Piscina (The Pool in Italian), nods to Aarons’ La Dolce Vita series. It’s a theme we’re always playing on.
